Annual report demonstrates real impact

Dyslexia Scotland has published its Annual Report 2024/25, marking the final phase of a three-year strategy, ‘The journey towards a Dyslexia‑Friendly Scotland’.

Over the past year Dyslexia Scotland has delivered impactful programmes, including free tutoring for children and young people, free adult assessments and extensive professional learning for educators. The charity has also amplified the voices of more than 1,400 adults with dyslexia through a groundbreaking baseline research report ‘Towards a dyslexia‑friendly Scotland?’, launched at the Scottish Parliament.

Chair David Shaw reflected: “Change is happening. This report marks both a summation of achievements and the foundation for the next chapter.”

Chief Executive Cathy Magee OBE said: “This report captures just a small flavour of the vital work carried out all year round, for dyslexic people of all ages and their families, employers and other professionals.”
