One way we’ll reach a dyslexia-friendly Scotland is by upskilling changemakers who can help us widen our reach. We’ve made some online training course to increase your knowledge – and confidence – in being more dyslexia inclusive in your setting.

Community Learning and Development

Take our free introductory course on the Open University’s Open Learn platform on ways of supporting dyslexic learners in a post-school setting.

These free modules give teachers and local authority staff a deeper understanding of dyslexia and inclusive practice within the context of Scottish Education. The modules were developed to support the recommendations of the 2014 Education Scotland Review: Making Sense: Education for Children and Young People with Dyslexia in Scotland.

Career educators

Job application forms can present barriers in dyslexic career journeys. Our free course for educators teaches you practical methods for supporting dyslexic clients in career learning settings.

Our popular Parent Masterclass is now available as an online course on Udemy, broken down into short videos for you to digest the learning bit at a time.
