CEO presented OBE

Cathy Magee, Chief Executive of Dyslexia Scotland was presented her OBE for services to dyslexia at Buckingham Palace today.

She said: It’s an incredible honour to be recognised with such a prestigious award. While it’s personally a great achievement, it’s reflective of the work of Dyslexia Scotland as a whole entity, from our Board of Directors and Ambassadors to our staff and volunteers who all strive for our vision of a dyslexia-friendly Scotland.”

David Shaw, Chair of Dyslexia Scotland said: “This is a truly well deserved recognition. Cathy is a strong advocate for people with dyslexia and a committed leader of our cause. Cathy dares to make a difference and does so in abundance.”
