Membership terms and conditions

Dyslexia Scotland membership terms and conditions

Membership renewal

Individual, family and educator memberships renew automatically, provided you’ve made your initial payment online. You will be sent an annual email reminder of the renewal one month before your renewal date.

Cancelling membership

Log in to your online account, go to ‘My Membership’, ‘Manage’, ‘View Billing’ then ‘Cancel’. Please note that we cannot offer partial refunds.

Free membership offers

From time to time we may offer free memberships, such as during Dyslexia Awareness Week.  We also offer free one year membership for people who complete all 3 of the online modules on the Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit. Free memberships offer 4 digital magazines and online Dyslexia Scotland content for members for one year only. They are not considered equal to paid membership and therefore discounts to our shop products and our Education Conference do not apply.

Educational membership

Educational membership is for individual schools/institutions.  Other membership costings (for example a local authority) can be provided on request.

Concessionary membership

This is for people aged under 16, over 65, students, holders of Young Scot card and people who are unemployed. We do not ask for evidence of any of these.

Contacting you

From time to time we will contact you about your membership. These communications are a legitimate interest in relation to your membership. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

Membership of Dyslexia Scotland does not grant members permission to promote or endorse products or express their own views in the name of Dyslexia Scotland.

Termination of membership

Dyslexia Scotland reserves the right to decline or cancel membership at any time.

Please note, these terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
