Erin's leading the way in Stirling

How Erin’s leadership earned her a Young Changemaker badge

Erin has been very active over the past year. She helped organise our school’s Dyslexia Awareness Week and during the week she presented an assembly about dyslexia to all of the children in her school. In June, she made a presentation to the Parent Council where she explained the definition of dyslexia, shared that all dyslexic thinkers are unique and proudly explained what helps her succeed and feel confident. She asked the Parent Council for money to help build a dyslexia-friendly library and resource bank. Her presentation was very well received and she has been given funding.
