ReciteFun author event for 7 – 12 year olds with dyslexia
Join Dyslexia Scotland and author Ross Montgomery on Zoom for this fun event aimed at 7 – 12 year olds. Ross is an award-winning children’s writer and author of over twenty books – everything from short stories to picture books and novels. He writes books that are weird, wonderful, and laugh-out-loud funny, which set out to make children look at the world around them in a different light.
Ross has written a number of books for dyslexia-friendly publishers Barrington Stoke, including his ‘Shake-up Shakespeare’ series: a big, loud, and very silly reimagining of some of the Bard’s most well-known tales, set in a primary school!
As well as reading from ‘Hurly Burly’ – Macbeth with a twist – Ross will answer any of your questions, as well as setting a challenge for our young participants.
