Dyslexia Scotland exhibitor terms and conditions

Exhibitors at Dyslexia Scotland events are expected to be:

· aligned with Dyslexia Scotland’s values of inclusion, empowerment, collaboration, social justice, innovation and continuous improvement for the dyslexic community

· committed to promoting only fact-checked, reliable information about dyslexia and any related products or services

· committed to enabling and empowering, and against any exploitation of the dyslexic community.

Dyslexia Scotland reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where these conditions are not met.

Please note that Dyslexia Scotland has a policy about non-endorsement of commercial products; we reserve the right not to approve exhibitor applications from any organisation at our discretion.

Exhibition materials and stands

Exhibitors are responsible for security of their goods from arrival until departure. Neither Dyslexia Scotland nor the venue are responsible for theft or damage. You are responsible for removing all of your own stock and resources from the premises within times which will be given before the event. Anything left behind will be disposed of. Any exhibitor leaving their stall in an untidy condition will be charged for the extra cost of labour to tidy the space.

All exhibition stands must be clear of any potential hazards. Exhibitors are responsible for any damage or injury to people or property within their designated space. You might be asked to provide proof of your Public Liability Insurance before the event.

Cancellation policy for paid events:

Registered exhibitors may receive a full refund of any payment made up to 30 days before the event. From then on, no refunds will be made unless Dyslexia Scotland is forced to cancel the event.

Dyslexia Scotland will not accept liability for people unable to attend due to circumstances outside our control (such as illness or personal commitments). As a charity, Dyslexia Scotland needs to ensure that we cover the running costs of delivering our events; unfortunately this means that we are unable to reimburse exhibitors for any costs if they are not able to participate on the day.
