David Smith is Professor of Bioscience Education at Sheffield Hallam University. He is a National Teaching Fellow and a Senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His innovative practice was been awarded the Royal Society of Biology HE educator of the year award in 2019. David’s practice is based around students engagement and technology-enhanced learning methods in both the classroom and laboratory setting.
