West Lothian – interactive workshop for 8 – 14 year olds with dyslexia

We are delighted to announce that Metaphrog are coming in person to speak to Dyslexia Scotland West Lothian on Thursday, 17th November 2022. This event will take place in Armadale Academy Library from 7pm to 8pm, and we would like to thank the Scottish Book Trust for funding this event.
Metaphrog are award-winning graphic novelists, Sandra Marrs and John Chalmers, who have published some amazing books including fairy tale adaptations of The Red Shoes and Other Tales, The Little Mermaid and Bluebeard: A Feminist Fairy Tale, as well as the Louis series. They will talk about their storytelling and share their creative process. Participants will also have a chance to create their own character. This talk is aimed at young people aged between 8 and 14, but everyone is welcome. You can sign up at Eventbrite (see below) or email us at [email protected]. This event has been funded by the Scottish Book Trust as part of Book Week Scotland.
