Animation course for young people with dyslexia
Once upon a dyslexia animation course
Calling all young dyslexic people age 11-16! Do you like Laika? Do you want to learn to animate like a Pixar pro? Do you want to share your dyslexic story?
We’d love you to join us as we learn from animation experts Square Peg to create a short animated movie about what being dyslexic means to you.
In 6 sessions, you will:
- Learn the traditional animation technique of stop motion from an animation pro
- Make new dyslexic friends
- Get to express yourself creatively in fun ways
- Get to make your own animation about your dyslexia
Your film will be edited and shared on our Dyslexia Unwrapped website, as well as at a special screening for your friends and family, just like a real movie premier!
These special workshops will be run by Indie from Square Peg, who is also dyslexic.
