Dyslexia Action closes after 40 years of providing services and support to people with dyslexia
Dyslexia Action (formerly known as Dyslexia Institute) announced its closure on 13 April 2017. The UK charity provided dyslexia services and support for over 40 years to thousands of children and adults with dyslexia as well as training many specialist teachers and assessors.
Dyslexia Scotland is very sorry to hear this sad news. The closure of the charity will be a huge loss to the dyslexia world, including those with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties: children, young people and adults in education and the workplace and the professionals who work with them. Our sympathy also goes to the many talented and dedicated professionals with whom we have worked over the years.
