Author Jonathan Meres

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Meres is coming along to speak to the Dyslexia Scotland West Lothian branch about his writing. This free event is open to everyone but we are particularly keen to encourage our young people with dyslexia to come along and meet Jonathan, and perhaps win a free book!

In the world of Norm, today is always one of those days. Whether it’s losing his house, getting grounded without leaving bed, or waking up in 18th-century France, Norm has many bonkers adventures. Norm’s creator, Jonathan Meres, is an actor and author of books for children and young adults, including the hilarious World of Norm series. He has also published books with dyslexia-friendly publisher, Barrington Stoke, and is very keen to dispel the myth that anything to do with books, writing, writers and authors is “boooooring!”

This event is part of Book Week Scotland celebrations and has been funded by the Scottish Book Trust and Creative Scotland. Book Week Scotland is a national celebration of books and reading that brings hundreds of free events to a variety of venues across the country. The theme for Book Week Scotland 2018 is "Rebel" and, throughout the week, books and reading will be celebrated.

Everyone welcome to this free event.  Click here to book free places on Eventbrite.
